On tracks, the robot gets through snow and mud and turns in place. On dry ground it climbs grades of up to 30 degrees.
From then on, the robot repeats it to within centimeters. Under the orchard canopy and indoors, where satellite signals don't reach, the robot navigates by what it sees around it.
